Omicron is one of many ambient music outlets for Grecian recording artist Savvas Ysatis.

Savvas Ysatis often collaborates with New York recording artist Taylor Deupree in projects such as SETI, Futique, and Arc (12k Records).  Early influences include Jean-Michel-Jarre and Kraftwerk.  After recording as Omicron, Ysatis moved back to Athens and started the Sonar record label.  He has also worked with Richie Hawtin (Plastikman) and Keoki.
